So, yesterday I told ya’ll about my fancy grilled cheese. Well, this tomato soup was its partner in crime. Basic pantry ingredients make this a quality side without all of the garbage that some companies put into canned soup (yes, I am pointing fingers). Not to mention the sodium! But I digress.
Martha Stewart (my go to) supplied me with the recipe and it comes together quickly. I simmered the onions and tomatoes, turned off the burner and went to Crossfit and came back, heated it up and threw it in the cuisinart to finish it off. Next time, I will make a double batch and freeze half.
